I am just struck over and over again with pure awe at the genius of the republican machine. The irony THE IRONY! They put up as a puppet this blabbering idiot to lull the democrats into believing first that he has no chance in hell so we don't really have to worry, I.e. Get our sh*t together to do anything, and second that once he's elected , that he couldn't really do much harm. I mean look at him, he can barely walk straight. And then as we're sipping our lattes unconcerned, wham bam backhand , they tear apart this country with more efficiency than could superman on steroids. It does really make me have to sit back every once in a while and just want to applaud. I'm intrigued in the same way that a really clever mass murderer draws me in. Appalled yet impressed. You think there might be something in the evil brain that blocks the 'oh well' or 'what was I doing again?' brain blimps that stop the rest of us from actually DOING anything?
